This is actually cool. I hope you don't mind if I share with other forums.

If you're going to make a comparison list you have to add in all games from each console. Not adding Move or Kinect games makes no sense since they are an integral part of each platform not to mention it makes your list inaccurate.

I hate comparisons that are skewed. If you're going to do it, do it right.

Anyways from the list I can see that all three consoles have plenty of quality exclusives...but I already knew that. I can however appreciate the work that went into making the thread. If it wasn't flawed it would be an amazing comparison.

I'll be doing a separate list for Move/Kinect (i put that in the OP). The need to purchase an extra peripheral (The kinect is still almost £90 in the UK) was enough of a reason for me to exclude them. When you also consider that, other than Dance Central, there aren’t any Kinect/Move games with above a 79 rating, I didn’t feel it skewered the list much at all.

There was no perfect way to do these graphs, so I went with the method that showed the most “honest” results.

I was under the impression that there are actually a decent number of games above a 79 on Kinect and Move.

My reasoning for including them is since you're strictly comparing exclusives and console exclusives based on metacritic then you should add all exclusives and consoles exclusives (top 50, and top 35 respectively) to the list.

If your comparison was to show possible adopters of a system (which, at this point in time would be a kind of pointless thing to do considering what website we're on) the metacritic of each console then your thread would be more suited for it. But because it's simply a comparison, it should have all games added to it.

Speaking of exclusives, I have just read IGN's Top 25 X360 games and felt like they were doing some kinda Steam/PC propaganda. I don't have a 360, but almost all those games are in my Steam or GOG collections. With all due respect, I'm pretty sure there must be more games than that which ARE exclusives (not only timed exclusives) and make the console what it is. X360 owners, what do you think?

Nope, Dance Central is it P: I understand where you are coming from, and that's why I’ll be doing a separate list for them. That way people with no interest in buying the peripherals can just use the first two graphs, and those who are looking to buy one can include the third graph in their decision :) (as soon as it’s done anyway P:)

Great thread! With the two separate list, imo it really shows how close the systems actually are in overall rating especially in true retail exclusives. With that said you know what's next....top 100 :P jk

Wow, crazy! I had no idea it was that few of games.

But sounds good to me, I gotta give you props for putting so much work into this thread

BTW sorry about being a little on the snappy side, I'm taking a statistics class which is making me view all graphs, statistics, and everything related to that in a whole new light (especially the ones that are used here on Vgchartz as facts).

I own all systems available except WiiU and Ouya. Anyone who thinks MS or Nintendo have the best exclusives is either a fanboy or simply doesn't own PS3. Sony wins by a mile. The best things MS have are Halo and Trials, but you can also play some of those on PC. Nintendo has many excellent exclusives but Sony has more.

Yeah I know, I was surprised too o:

And thanks :) also just realised I could add a link underneath the third graph leading people to a fourth which shows the Kinect/move graph combined with the “true” exclusives list :) That should keep everyone happy.

Ah no problem, you made a valid point. Good luck with the class though ^^

Funny that metacritic allows Sony fanboy sites to post bogus scores. So to me this reads and means nothing until they get rid of all the Sony fanboy sites that post obvious biased reviews and scores.

What are you talking about?

GODZILLA.

been trying to say this for a long time. Naturally, of the top tens I think Nintendo is the most impressive due to the mario, zelda, and smash bros games.
