Looks good, but the kinect controls kinda kill it.....I'm hoping it has control options too

It was announced a few months back, if I'm not mistaken, that the game actually abandoned exclusive Kinect controls for the traditional control scheme as its standard and that the Kinect would either be an optional control scheme or have little to no use at all for it.

source ??? cause what recall is the oposite... kinect game with optional pad... an on rail can not be better holding a pad imo.... i need that arcade feel to enjoy it my hands being the pointer, like my plastic gun was in arcade.... otherwise i'll pass it'll be boring and stale

I just read it on the wiki about the game a few months ago. I remember people talking about both it and Ryse as being two games that Microsoft was originally planning to use as showcases for the Kinect being used in more traditional feeling games but then having the Kinect-required controls abandoned.

yeah I read the wikipedia thing too but it is still listed as arcade kinect on xbox.com

Haha that would be cool actually! I'm not getting an Xbox One any time soon. Going for PS4. But when I do get one I'm hoping this game is good. I loved Panzer Dragoon from back in the day. Just not sure how well that kind of gameplay will hold up in today's market. I do like the visual style though.

Took them long enough. Was waiting for that Panzer Dragoon experience on the 360 and never got it, despite getting Orta exclusive on the original XBox.

It's just that simple.

Seems like the game is going to be $20.

"Crimson Dragon, the new rail shooter from the creator of Panzer Dragoon, will cost $19.99 when it launches alongside the Xbox One on Nov. 22 in North America, publisher Microsoft Studios announced today.

Customers who buy the game by the end of 2013 will receive an exclusive playable dragon."

Wow, that's an excellent price!

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Check out MyAnimeList and my Game Collection. Owner of the 5 millionth post.

As a Sega fanboy I cannot wait for this game.

My favorite part of Darksiders was the on rails flying segment.

Does spiritual successor normally mean clone?

I am really looking forward to playing ths with Kinect, I love to play Child of Eden that way :).

I know I'm in a minority here, but for me this is the game that pushes the X1 over the edge for this old time Sega fan. Panzer Dragoon always felt like a spiritual successor to Space Harrier to me and this is the next incarnation. I want to play this more than any other announced next gen game. Makes me even want to use Kinect for the first time too. Teehee!

Anyone else here play the side story on WP?
