Forums - Gaming - 3DS enthusiasts! Do you want a Vita?

No. I was going to buy one at release to play PSP games, but since it didn't had the capability to play UMDs at the time(still can't play them), I ended up buying a PSP. There were no games that interested me in a Vita back then and there still aren't any right now, so no reason to consider buying one.

No. At least, not now

Yes for Persona 4.

Looking to borrow someone else's but no one has a Vita at college.

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie  Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)

Wait for the TV thing then^

I expect a consoles OS to be that slow, the 3DS OS suffers from data lag.

But the Vita is slow from what I've used.

Takes 2 to 3 seconds to start an application. The navigation is seemless. You can pause the applcation at any time quickly swipe the screen and start another app 2 to 3 seconds. You can even have a game running, the music player andthe internet browser wich can run youtube videos at the same time.

Can you explain what exactly is slow to you?

I'm kind of curous about the Vita. Some of those ports/remakes like Persona and Rayman look like they'd be fun on the go, some original games like Soul Sacrifice and Gravity Rush look good, and the $200 price tag isn't too bad. I'm just not interested enough to spend the equivalent of five retail 3DS games on the hardware alone. I might pick one up when I get a stable job and the price goes down more, but I might be busy playing Wii U, 3DS, PC, and mobile games instead.

I'm still waiting more games and a 150€ pricetag.

but yes, it is a very nice piece of hardware.

I get the feeling he hasnt even tried it, probably read an article on some dark corner of the internet that said something about it being slow and believed it xD

I know slow when I see it, PSN store  on PS3 now thats slow! on the vita though the Ps store is smooth.

Closing the applications, the system crashed twice while I was exiting a game as well.

Meh!

It has no games that interest me at the moment. Sony handhelds never do have anything I really want
