What will people say when there are a raft of ps4 games than not only don't achieve 60fps, but are also sub 1080p? I'm sure there are already examples.

Just yesterday we had people downplaying 1080p and 60fps for Bayonetta 2 (it's gameplay that counts!) now it will be a minumum again and ridiculous that Da XBone can't achieve it.

pathetic and boring, transparent and childish.

Forza 5 1080P 60FPS Baked lightning.

Cars look like toys.

Current gen environments.

Killer Instinct 720P 60FPS

2.5D fighting game lol.

Dead Rising 3 = 24 - 30FPS with dynamic resolution.

Rye = 900P 30FPS

Killzone  1080P 30 - 60FPS

Knack = 1080P 30FPS

Resogun 1080P 60 FPS

Driveclub 1080P 30 - 60FPS.

The only non 1080P game on PS4 is The Order and that's because they're adding black lines at the top and bottom of the screen for cinematic purposes. Also don't knows why you're mad, not like I ever said 1080P isn't important as it should be a standard for next gen seeing as 4K TVs will be the norm by generations end. Fact of the matter is...the only 1080P native game on X1 we've seen uses last gem features to seemingly achieve it.

So not all 1080p and 60fps then, thanks for the confirmation......  "cinematic purposes" lmao.... sure, get ready for more excuses like that.

As soon as you start saying nonsense like "cars look like toys" and "2.5d fighting game lol" your argument loses credibility and you show your true colours.

My point is that is is not news, who cares? the WiiU does a game at 1080p and 60fps, is it more powerful than the ONE? it's more about design choices.  This is just another opportunity for a dig.

Your fooling yourself if you believe The order can't render 38,400 more pixels when it's rendering 1,300,000Also the BF4 devs say the game should be 1080Ps by launch. Either way Killzone and Driveclub looks miles ahead any Xbone exclusive and both are 1080P and targeting 30 - 60 FPS while a 2.5D fighting game is 720P on xbone lol

Also have you seen BF4 running on a Xbone?

This is  not about a marginal difference between 1080p and 900p upscaled to 1080p. 99% of the users here could not even tell a difference, including me.
This is only about Xbox One vs PS4 bashing.

Oh and some of you guys are in denial if you really think every game will be in 1080p on PS4.

You had a point till you stooped to the same level, way to go.

Where did I bash a console in this post?
Next gen games won't be locked at 1080p. This is my point. This goes for every console out there.

My "prediction" is, that the technical gap (sound / visuals / etc.) between both consoles will be smaller than ever.
I think both consoles are reasonably powered and have enough horsepower to create awesome gaming experiences, but those just won't be locked at 1080p.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

900p will be the new sub HD of Nextgen. Nothing wrong with that as long as the game looks good and runs well.

Ryse looks to be the most graphically impressive game of the X1. 900p wouldn't change that. Although it makes it less impressive now.

At first though I expected 1080p/30fps and 720p/60fps to be the standard for nextgen. Where I'll be bothered will be a game 720p/30fps.

And so far PS4 games are looking better at higher resolutions.

Hmm...power gap smaller than ever when PS4 games are pushing out way more pixels and next gen graphical features?

Nah PS4's GPU is better and has much higher bandwidth, it's apparent now and will be apparent for the rest of this gen. Face the facts.

Also I never said all PS4 games will be native 1080P.

However what I implied in the OP was the fact that both Ryse and Killer Instinct and Dead Rising 3 aren't as graphically demanding as Killzone or Driveclub, both which run at 30 - 60FPS.

It's perfectly fine to infer that it's because if Xbone's weaker GPU. I don't know why all the Xbox fans in defense mode when I never mentioned the PS4...But whatever make them feel better about their console of choice I guess lol.

Oh please, you knew exactly what you would start with the stuff you added to the OP. It makes perfect sense when someone is talking about one console having a "weak GPU" to mention the fact that most of the games on the other console are not 1080p60 themselves.

Furthermore these are launch games. To imply some element of hardware is "weak" and "already showing" is just hilarious, ignorant, and extremely short-sighted.

Why don't you compare Forza and Driveclub -
Forza is graphically better (car details, environment, lighting) and runs at a higher FPS.

Does this make the Xbox One significantly better? Nope.

We knew exactly what you wanted to say when reading the op. No need for further explanation.

This is true, but also makes the desicion to wait on getting a XOne even easier, ill pick it up once devs have got to grips with the awkward hardware aspects.
