Legends sold best on Wii U in America, as well. No wonder third parties don't want to develop for it.

...Wait, what?

Goes to show. I wonder what adjustments were like, and whether or not the PS3 remains ahead of the 3DS after them.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I'd be surprised if those Wii-U numbers in NA are correct. We've been overtracking it in USA throughout Pikmin month and I suspect the price drop announcement would've had another hit on the sales.

Woeful for it and for Vita though. It's weird the psychological barrier that 10k does. I feel like the price cut has almost had a positive effect in Europe (it's up at least), but in reality it's barely better than in NA where it's doing absolutely terrible (and probably overtracked, too).

wii version of disney infinity passed xbox version...

i wander if rayman legends was released only on wii u in feburary, i think it could sold better than 3 versions together.

no. seriously, how many people do you think jumped away from rayman on wii u just because they delayed it?

rayman is just not a game which sells good the first weeks but will leg it out with a lower price point. was not different with origins which sold even less the first week. well, at least in europe, didn't compare the us numbers yet.

Yes, the delay made a lot of people jump away from rayman legends.

For 2 reasons: the gamepad hype, and the intern concorrence.

The gamepad hype that decrease a lot. The gamepad novelty made the people buy zumbi U, and i think a game with the gamepad usage like rayman legends could do the same. They would get a little of the people who bought NSMBU.

The concorrence on wii U is much bigger now then in feburary. In feburary wii U had "only 3 games": zumbi U, nintendo land and NSMBU, since then MH, Lego City, Pikmin, W101, anounces of zelda, mario, DK, came. And I see a lot of people in foruns telling that wont get rayman legends cos they had already spent their money in other game or they have to save money for other(s) game(s).

Gosh WiiU in the low 20's for hardware.

Vita price cut didnt do anything in the states.

Im not worried about Rayman, these games keep selling forever.

30k sounds about right, hopefully word of mouth will give it some decent legs through the holidays.
