Yes, the delay made a lot of people jump away from rayman legends.
For 2 reasons: the gamepad hype, and the intern concorrence.
The gamepad hype that decrease a lot. The gamepad novelty made the people buy zumbi U, and i think a game with the gamepad usage like rayman legends could do the same. They would get a little of the people who bought NSMBU.
The concorrence on wii U is much bigger now then in feburary. In feburary wii U had "only 3 games": zumbi U, nintendo land and NSMBU, since then MH, Lego City, Pikmin, W101, anounces of zelda, mario, DK, came. And I see a lot of people in foruns telling that wont get rayman legends cos they had already spent their money in other game or they have to save money for other(s) game(s).
