I don't really need to play the 360/PS3 versions to know what they bring to the table though. I have played it with both analogue and with pointer, the two main control methods. Still, it's up to you what you want.

You can still use the GC controller in the Wii version.

Wii version.

But make sure to play it on hard mode, the IR pointer controls make it way to easy to headshot.

Come sit on my lap and let me tell you a story. I bought RE4 on the Gamecube (original "exclusive"), PS2 (new content!), Wii (new controls!), and Xbox 360 (HD graphics!). Now, unless there's Move controls on the PS3, I'm going to say that the Wii Edition is the best version without a doubt.

Get the Wii version and run it through Dolphin (if your PC is capable enough)...or at the very least: use your WiiU for uprezzing !

This is a difficult one.

I played the PS2 version, then Wii version, then PS3 version. Absolutely loved the game, one of my all time favourites.

I'd say I had the most fun with the Wii version, the motion controls were fresh and fun. Now though, I'd say the PS3 version is the definitive version. I prefer using a standard controller and the HD visuals look much cleaner.

Makes me wish Capcom would release these on physical disc (for the rest of the world as only Japan got it) along with Okami, but nope, they chose to only do Devil May Cry.  

They did remove ammo packs from some areas becasue aiming was so much more precise..

Side note. First time I have ever seen someone knock a game for having more precise controls
