Yup. Every summer my nieces and nephews all converge on my parents' place and play SNES non-stop. They love the old games. I play them with them, they usually need help, and they love to hear me talk about the old games. They loot through my old Nintendo Powers and have a blast old-schooling. I still love the old SNES games, and download them on virtual console from time to time. The Famicom 30cent promotion was great for this. I wouldn't pay a lot for Donkey Kong, but 30cents for 10 minutes or so of play time was fine.

As much as I can with the Wii's / Wii U's VC.

Also got a bunch of old ass games on my PC.

I love the classics and don't care that much about graphics. During this gen, I've downloaded quite a few old games from the Virtual Console on Wii and the PSOne classics on PSN and enjoyed them greatly sometimes playing those games instead of more recent games in my backlog.

Yes I do in fact over the course of my gaming years what I mostly did was catch up. I played the mayority of the games people like to call "classics". It was not until two years ago that I am playing current gen games.

I play 90% last gen (6,5,4) games as opposed to current (yes, I still view 7 as current) games. So yes.

all the time, it is always fascinating to see just how good some games hold up today...
my prime example is always Paper Mario 64, some of the older RPGs do look ugly now, are close to unplayable because of redicolous random encounter rates (the original Skys of Arcadia on Dreamcast says hello)...because of needless padding, boring filler stuff
but PM 64 trimmed the fat of traditional RPGs really really well, looks still good enough/ still good and I will still play it in 10 years !
...lets see how good some of those interactive movies will age (we will see, Uncharted, we will see ! *shakes fist*)

Yes. I find it hard to resist downloading certain titles from Nintendo's Virtual Console. I used to play Atari, Intellivision & Coleco games on XBox Live's Game Room until they stopped releasing content for it.

I'd rather play this game with a friend than almost any new game.
