Okay, but we shouldn't forget that we (or rather you and TruckOSaurus) were initially talking about how Vita fans acted. The thread you linked is from Chandler (!)

I dont understand what that has got to do with anything. He bought a Vita and then decided to sell it because it didnt have games. Why would you wanna buy a console if you're not a fan of it? Sure that person was a Vita fan until he decided it was time to let go and buy a 3ds. I've never heard of anyone buying a console with hate and disgust. When I say Vita fan I say owners of the system, what more can it mean than owning the system?

Nah, Metroid Prime single handedly got me away from PC gaming. Best game I've ever played along with Super Metroid. REmake, Thousand Year Door and Twilight Princess were serious highlights for me too. After GC's life ended, I was straight back to PC. I got a Wii but mostly hated it. I got a Wii U cos it seemed like Nintendo were headed in a direction that appealed to me, but so far there have been no amazing games. That said, I've just started W101 and really like it so far.

I never said Gamecube didn't have a few gems, but a few gems is/was not enough to keep Gamecube from being a colossal failure. I loved Prime, as well as REmake, and a few others, but overall the console was not up to par. You don't find it ironic that when Nintendo is appealing to you, they see a very limited pressence in the market? Maybe you don't care, in which case you actually are a Sony like Nintendo fan :)

Gamecube was a joke? Granted, there were some Nintendo games on it I didn't care for, but Melee, Eternal Darkness, Wave Race, Pikmin, Metroid Prime, Chibi Robo, F-Zero, Twilight Princess? That was some damn fine gaming, thanks. And as for your little theory, Wii U will have quite a lot of good software, so long as you're not dead inside. Meanwhile, enjoy your Playstation I guess.

I see, so if I don't like the software Nintendo is offering thus far on Wii U, or in the near future that's my fault. I don't have the peculiar, particular tastes to understand the greatness of such titles like Pikmin 3, which did wonders to lift GC sales, and will obviously do the same for Wii U. Or the WWHD which is a remake of the most controversial Zelda game ever made, and also did wonders for GC sales.

As for Playstation...I'd sooner buy a new lamp.
