How much do you think the HD remake is going to sell lifetime?

The original on GCN has sold 4.6mil copies.

Helllll Noooo! 4.61mil for the original, you think more??? There isn't one game in the world that sold more than the original thats a remake! You barely have some that break half of an original!!!!!

Both physical and digital combined yes.

Not even the halo remake got anywhere near that, and it's a much bigger franchise on a much higher install base, and the game was much more beloved

And a HD remaster has never outsold the original game

I'll go 1.25 million...generally that'd be more than a little optimistic for an HD remaster, especially when the console that its on during release only has two million + sellers at the time...but it's the first Wii U Zelda, it's got a bundle and a limited edition...and given 6 or so years on the market with some price cuts down the line, I think it can eventually make a million and a quarter.

I can't see it getting past 2 million...I think everyone before me has been WAY too optimistic...but I suppose that's all conjecture for the moment.

Just under 2 million. Like in the 1.7-1.9 million range.

Bundle and the fact that it's at 49.99 will help with that.

Not that I agree with him but its better than your 1.

A. Halo isnt as old as Zelda and has a lot more games in less time.

B. Bigger Franchise? Let me know when Halo is as old as Zelda and we will see if it is still around

C. Game was much more beloved? Really that is a matter of opinion

D. How many HD remakes are out like Zelda? Most are just remakes of games from last gen without anything added but updated graphics.
