We thought today would be a great day for Fun Fact Friday – today, we’ve collected some of our favorite facts on Xbox One, and different ways the system can help you play the way you want to. Of course, a picture is worth many words, so don’t miss this infographic that brings it all to life.

1. You can buy your games on disc, or download them. Your downloadable games will be available to you on any Xbox One.
   
   
2. You can trade, rent, sell, gift or loan any game disc. It works just like it does today for Xbox 360.
   
   
3. You can purchase a game digitally and start playing while it downloads.
   
   
4. You can play games online or offline – it’s up to you.
   
   
5. You can check your favorite team’s score on Live TV, answer a call with Skype or go to grab snacks while in the midst of battle. With Xbox One – you can suspend and resume gameplay instantly.
   
   
6. You can sign in to any Xbox One and instantly access your personal profile, downloadable games, preferences and favorites.
   
   
7. With Home Gold, anyone in your family can access top Xbox Live Gold benefits on your Xbox One, such as multi-player and entertainment apps.

This changes everything.

MS PR moguls are doing a decent job at stamping out the fires. This should help to clarify their new stance.

I don't really follow the whole "Your schedule" section though. Suspending and resuming gameplay instantly? Even the examples they give (walking the dog or checking the TV) I've been doing that for years.

What's up with Home Gold?

Home Gold is the feature of where you purchase one Xbox Live Gold subscription for your account and everyone who accesses that Xbox One has access to all the features of Gold.

...so it's a more powerful Xbox 360?

Aren't these the people who were knocking the PS4 for just being a more powerful PS3?

It means you can play a game. Then for some reason have some manly urges. You say "Xbox, snap Internet Explorer" to open up some porn on a web browser to the side of the screen. You then realize looking at pictures isn't doing anything for you. You say "Xbox, Playboy Channel" it instantly changes to the Playboy Channel and you fap one out real quick. You say "Xbox, Skylander" to get instantly back to your game of Skylander. Sticky controller and all. Ooooops... Xbox thought you said "Xbox, Skype Alexander".. There you are naked as your buddy Alexander has a look of astonishment on his face.

I get work calls all the time at awkward moments. This is great that I can just say, "Xbox Pause" and take my call.

Even better if I can make it pause when it hears the phone ring.

The Home Gold will be really useful too. So everyone can have their own Gamertag, but not need gold for each and every one.
