Nintendo will be launching Wii Party U this Fall, and they’ve just announced the
full package: the game will include a Wii Remote Plus controller, and a GamePad stand. And it’ll still retail with the regular $60 price tag (we expect). Talk about a great deal. And the box looks wonderful, too.

Wii Party U was announced back at E3 in June, and will feature the well-known Nintendo party game layout, with a board that consists of minigames. In all, Wii Party U will include over 80 different mini games, according to Nintendo. Some of the mini games will be playable on the GamePad alone.

Wii Party U is the official sequel to 2010′s Wii Party, and launches exclusively on the Wii U on October 25. It supports up to 5 players in offline multiplayer — one player uses the GamePad, while the other 4 use the Wii Remote.

The original Wii Party may not have been the best game ever, but the stupid amount of fun i've had with the original makes this a day one purchase for me.

Ok...what does the choice, "Too Casual" (in the poll) have to do with the bundle being cool or not?

Anyways, I think the bundle may be a good bundle as far as the inclusion of a Wiimote+ / gamepad stand is pretty good. It all depends on how much it will cost in the end. If Nintendo didn't have many games to accompany the WiiU since launch, a bundle or two like this could have been better than what most consumers got so far.

Also getting rid of the white bundle was a good decision as that isn't what Nintendo usually does anyways (fragmenting the console in different SKUs) so including the gamepad stand for those that did but the white SKU can have that extra bonus as well.

We will see how it does but I think this will mainly sell to the white SKU crowd than the black SKU crowd.

Generation 8 Predictions so far.....(as of 9/2013)

Console that will sell most: Nintendo Wii U

Who will sell more consoles between Microsoft/SONY: SONY

This. I just have plenty of friends to play this game with in local-multiplayer so when it was announced, it was an automatic day-one for me. And now, when you add in the $50 pricetag AND a Wii Remote Plus included, it's just a no brainer. Weird, wacky, undeniable fun.

Upcoming Games To Get

Definite: Kirby Star Allies (Switch), Mario Tennis Aces (Switch), Fire Emblem (Switch), Yoshi (Switch), Pokemon (Switch), Kingdom Hearts 3 (PS4), Monster Hunter World (PS4)

Considering: Fe (Switch), Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze (Switch), The World Ends With You (Switch), Ys VIII (Switch), Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition (PS4), Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Remix (PS4), The Last Guardian (PS4), Shadow of the Colossus HD (PS4), Anthem (PS4), Shenmue 3 (PS4), WiLD (PS4)

Neat packaging.

I'm digging the gamepad stand. Now does a 6 inches of screen real estate  in single touch form works in a multiplayer touch frenzy?

I'm kinda afraid of that.

Planning on getting this game when I get a Wii U for the Wii remote! I also thought the original Wii Play wasn't that bad actually really liked to play the tank mini game with friends. Hope this one will be fun.
