Xbox is NOW and has been for the last few years a VERY profitable business and all the while it is backed up by one of the most profitable businesses on the planet.

All is good.

Nintendo has made losses for 2 straight years and Sony... well... we all know about Sony and its financial woes.

Last time I checked, we were talking about games. What you just said wasn't entirely from their Xbox division. So what I'm saying is that Microsoft hasn't made money from the Xbox.

I didn't say that, kowen did. And I already told you that the Xbox division has made over $4bill profit over the last 6 years.

Why are you gettting so damn defensive. All I said was they haven't made money from Xbox. If the X1 can repeat what it did with the 360, then it will more and likely become profitable overall.

Xbox isnt a standalone business. Which bit of that dont you get?

Not sure what you arent understanding from him.  He said that it has been profitable.  Businesses dont care about losses from 13 years ago.  They are focused on now and right now Xbox is making money for them.  You are focusing on the entire 13 years which is irrelevant and he is focusing on the present.  Stop argueing about it.
