Would you happen to know how much MS has made recently off just the XBox division? I've been hearing that xbox live has made them tremendous profit.

there is no xbox division

but the division that contains xbox made close to $1bn this last year.  Xbox will have made more than than that as other parts of the division drag it down.


Microsoft has made money off of the 360, but they haven't made money off of the Xbox overall.

But that's completely irrelevent in 2013, it's been profiting for the last 6 years so why does it matter what it did in the early 2000's exactly? Hardly indicative of the state of the division is it?

Last time I checked, we were talking about games. What you just said wasn't entirely from their Xbox division. So what I'm saying is that Microsoft hasn't made money from the Xbox.

Xbox isnt a standalone business. Which bit of that dont you get?

....and Microsft IS making money from its business.  One more time... past losses do not carry over, thats not how business works.. unless you are that fanboy that created a meaningless spredsheet of utter nonsense.
