Lmao @ Xbox fans in this thread being painfully hopeful of low shipments from Sony this year. What's even funnier is that they tried to explain their unrealistic expectations with bs as if it wasn't apparent they were bias as hell and were simply being hopeful.

the article states, "Sony has already secured over one million pre-orders for PS4 – a figure it could struggle to fulfil for launch day.".

...but that is the authors opinion not anything sony ever stated.

And he say for launch day that is really hard to put 1 million consoles to be sold in one day... nothing about fullfil the holiday period.

Look how well Playstation is doing. They'll probably get bonuses anyways not to mention its a free country and they can just quit if they want.

What is the time needed to test these consoles before they are shipped? It can't be extensive given how fast they are being launched after manufacturing.

You have one year warranty for this purpose... if I remember the test are not made in all console but just some sampling in each batch.

How long do you think they need? Ok its a more complex device than a tablet, but you would think with the numbers of ipads that sell every year, they aint sitting their playing angry birds for a few days per tablet :)
