Vita saved people!
i dont know where this site would be without spurg's updates about sales in his local walmart

Flaw here... not every Wal-Mart carries PS Vitas... much less holding 2 each to be honest. There are 4 Wal-Marts near where I live, and I have checked 2 of the 4 and both only had 1 PS Vita in stock, the rest of the space were for every other system... including the Wii U (which had 4 rather than 1). I know they weren't selling and just restocking because they left almost no space for memory cards. I would know because I looked at Wal-Mart before buying MY Vita and getting a memory card.
Anyway, I know you weren't being serious but OP might actually be thinking this. 2 from a single retail location isn't enough to make any conclusions. It's not even enough to form a hypothesis.

was it bundled with a vita? |
Yes,
in Europe thers a bundle called "Mega Pack Vita". It comes with a 8GB memory card and the code to get from the store the following titles:
The original price was 239€, but after the price cut I had the chance to find it in a store at 157€. Nice price for the offer, isn't it?

Has anyone seen any strong bundles since the price cut.
They should do Rayman Legends+ Killzone+16GB card + 3 months PS plus for $279.

I would think they would have a better time bundling those things separately and charging $199 for Rayman + 4/8GB and separately Killzone + 4/8GB for $199 as well. The reason why I think this way is better is because it will actually move hardware. The other one, $279 for that deal sounds like something someone would think about before picking it up. If a bundle is the same price as the original, people would more likely buy on a whim, especially bundled with a game they would have got anyway.

Yeah, I think lower entry bundle would work better, especially for black friday, and especially for the masses. But I don't think the Vita is at a stage where its really appealing to that market. My thinking is that the Vita's main potential audience right now are core+informed gamers but the stigma of the limited software library and costly memory cards puts them off.
It seems a simple thing, but bundling 2 new, highly rated AAA titles could really boost the perception of its software line up, on topof that PS+ has a really strong and positive precense on the internet. speaking on my own experience, memory card prices were the number 1 thing which prevented me from getting a Vita, I knew I wanted at least 16GB so I could go mostly dgital and so I dismissed all the bundles at the time because they only came with 4GB or 8GB. Really wasn't keen having the knowledge that I'd just have to fork out on another $60 straight after the purchase.
Not sure if serious...so I guess you aren't.
But I just never know with you Spurge. However, anecdotally, I guess it's done OK for you.
Yesterday I went to the local gamestore. Somebody was actually standing in the PSV isle for once, so I guess the price cut must have worked...

spurge is thee best stealth-troller on this site.
