Nsanity wasn't banned for disagreeing with Ethomaz. Nsanity was banned for coming into a thread only to toss out non-contributing inflammatory posts about another member and then once he was called out and challenged for it he ignored it. He came and did what he intended to do, which was to trash talk Ethomaz.

It was embarassing.

Thank you for assuming I should be banned.  It's nice to know the moderators here are objective when they actually look at a discussion rather than just assume.

I don't know how that assumption brings to question objectivity.  I assumed that one of the two people banned that the guy I was quoting mentioned was you because you had a post asking Ethomaz if he was full of shit or trolling.  I figured that was one of the two posts that had been given a ban in the thread, but I guess whichever mod dealt with the reports from this thread found that more acceptable than the other two he actually banned for.  

This isn't about assuming that you'd be banned because I know you and dislike you or something.  I only kind of recall who you are, but I did think that the post you made would be moderated.  

I find it disgusting that some people actually have the nerve to trash talk the degree of a member of the community. In a gaming forum...

Come on guys... Think about how boring those threads would be without ethomaz arguments and bets!

I disagree with you somewhat. 

I assume that you are an avid reader of Nsanity's postings of Info when coming to your conclusion.  On a # of them ethomaz does the same thing as he did to start with on this thread.  He says something to the effect that whatever the OP posted it wrong and then in a different post when pushed he posts a source that is another differing OPINION and states them as facts.  Obviously this is done frequently by just about everyone and that is the point of the forums.  I have to admit, most of the time I can't tell whether he is full of crap or not as I don't have the background to do so.  The frustrating part is that to me he is trolling many of the threads with info about XBOne and claiming that the OP is wrong and still often sourcing things to places that have another opinion.  I am sure if you posted as many things Xbox related as Nsanity does each day only to have someone constantly going after your threads without a lot of info in his first few comments you would get sick of it.  I don't think ethomaz's first post is too much different than most of his posts in Xbox related threads.  It seems to always derail the thread into some type of "my opinion is better" argument.  Usually wiping out any interest in further discussion.

Of course Nsanity could have been nicer about how he commented, but there is a point where people generally want to make sure that everyone knows that he is doing this if they don't frequent all of the threads.  Just talking about this seems to get people banned, so that kind of proves his point to begin with.

Anytime a person decides to berate a user rather than attempt to put forth a rebuttal to their claim it speaks volumes. Even more so the person they are trashing offers to put up proof and instead of accepting the challenge that user once again goes into attack mode.

Nsanity has no grounds in which to bash Ethomaz in this thread. He only comes off as a poster with an obvious agenda. He needs to take a long hard look in the mirror before he goes ahead and tries to belittle someone due to their character. I have been here for quite a while and one thing I do not see much, if at all is Ethomaz attacking other users. Who knows, maybe i'm wrong.

Taking info from another site or not is 100% irrelevent as Ethomaz was actually discusing the subject matter. His posts were non-inflammatory and on topic.

These questions that come with hardware specs convos are just stupid. You don't have to have a degree to know something about a topic. In this case, he apprently does, but dismissing someone because their educational background is dumb.
