It would be awesome if they did.
Nintendo need more (HD-experienced) teams and new blood, and Platinum need a sugar-daddy.
Make it happen, Nintendo.
Nintendo should make them into a first party. we all know what happened to Rare.

@mushroomboy5: Fair enough. I agree that they are the kind of developer that makes very diverse games and in a lot of different genres. It's just that lately they have focused on one kind of game (game, not style) over the rest.
@Pavolink: Capcom owns Okami, you should ask them to make a sequel, which doesn't look very likely. But it's curious that they have chosen that game, which didin't set the world on fire in sales, to launch it on many platforms. Maybe if someone gives then a "little help"...
Please excuse my bad English.

Nintendo games have legs... especially on consoles with slow starts.

| ryuzaki57 said: Is this guy serious? How can he see his future with Nintendo when he's just made the bomba of the year? They have to unveil projects for other consoles ASAP. They have people waiting for their games outside the Nintendo world. Why can't they understand that!? It hurts so much to read things like that... |
I hope this happens. Would be a great addition to Nintendo's portfolio and I think they need to become even more self-sufficient than they are now.
