May be useless to you, but it's gonna be really useful for me and many others.  Like if I'm at class or on my college campus and no where near my ps4 when a game comes out.  Just go on my phone and purchase it and can play right when I get home.  That's awesome to me.

Or you know, worry about the lecture, or studying and grades. Thanks for reminding me off to read some chemistry... yay....

Or I have a break and can spare 1-2 minutes of my time to purchase a game on my phone.  No matter, I think it's awesome you don't.  We'll leave it at that.

this is the kind of feature that I will never understand why anyone would really think its useful.

I just bought Journey on the PS Store (Cause it was 4$). Was at my cousins house when I bought it using the online PS Store. It would be cool if my PS3 could turn on and start downloading it and then turn off. When I had gotten home, I could have started to play Journey instead of having to wait for it to DL.

Nice scenario. Still completely useless. You went online while with company to purchase a game? How is this even socially acceptable? It would be like if I were bowling with friends then said, "I gotta run to the store and buy the new playstation that came out. Dont skip my turn!"

What are you even talking about? Socially unacceptable? He's my cousin, he doesn't require my undivided attention 24/7. It's not like it took me that long. I knew what I was going to buy because I knew that Journey was on sale. All it took was a minute. Also, I hate bowling.

Wow this guy thinks that people are busy 24/7. Like you can't just take 1 minute out of your entire day to go on the online PS Store to buy something...

Unfortunately, you're totally wrong about Max. He's a proud Playstation owner.

I already use some feature like that with PS3...

  • The PSN updates happen
  • I use the PC store to buy the games I want (or get the latest Plus updates)
  • Put in PS3 download queue
  • My Plus Automatic Updates are seted to run at mid of my work time
  • PS3 wake up and download/install the games
  • I got home and just start to play it

So it is useful.

I don't think everyone is busy 24/7. I just think that gaming isn't that important to need to buy it on your phone. I also think PS+ is useless (GASPS!!!!)

Hah!! That's where you're wrong my friend.  Or at least in my case.  I'm going to school for 3D environment modeling for games.  So gaming is important for me.  BOOM!!!  Take that.

Carry on with your Chemistry reading. :-p

Well you win this time, but only due to a technicality.
