PSP did decently..
But I think it's hard to get a handheld of the ground these days with all the tablets and mobile gaming around and with no games like pokemon, monster hunter, animal crossing, mario kart and so on.

Sony should start advertising the price cut and make a minecraft + psvita bundle and get a steady stream of decent software like on the ps3 and 3ds

I should have worded my post better. When i say "vita sucks" i mean it has no games really worth getting therefore there is really no reason why you should buy it right now.

Yes ive played one several times. i tried Mvc3, Uncharted and some puzzle game. It looked great and played great but 2 of those games are pretty much the same versions of the ones on the ps3 so again no need to buy them when i already have them.

Vitas issues have ZERO to do with it being too high end, its not even that high end. Although Killzone mercenary looks amazing..

 

Vita willl be fine, its a marathon not a race. Doesn't need to outsell 3ds.

If the 3DS is barely profitable how the hell will the vita be profitable? You are totally forgetting about the R&D and I believe the vita is selling at a loss

Simply not true....... You played 2 games and 1 puzzle game so you are an expert? ROFL. Vita has dozens of great games now, persona 4 IMO is better then anything on 3ds. The show is the best portable sports game...ever. Killzone mercenary is amazing. GRavity rush is excellent as well, as virtues last reward, and many more. Not to mention, all those great iindies. I also missed out on the PSP so playing all those PSP games with improved visuals and I have a massiver backlog.

 

Sorry this vita has no games is a bs lie.

From a hardware sales perspective, I don't consider the PSP a failure. More the opposite.

As harsh as it sounds this is 100% true, without the Vita Nintendo wouldn't have to play it safe all the time and it would allow them to create more unique titles.

Umm that makes no sense.............Nothing is stopping them now, they already dominate. They dont create more unique titles because thats who nintendo are.
