Neither was Pikmin but the only ads I saw for it were on kids nerworks.

Also there are plenty of shows on kids networks that appeal to high school/college students. Shows like Adventure Time, Regular Show, Ninja Turtles are watched by that age group so airing Wonderful 101commercials during those shows could help.

You mean failed adults?

Does it get lonely up there in your ivory tower?

No, this is where the adults who didn't fail to become so hang out.

LOL Sorry, but any adult who considers themself "too old" to be able to sit and enjoy cartoons, for example, honestly has no right to call themselves a "grown up", because that is one of hte most immature attitudes out there. Just saying.

Theres a reason why the game is called a "cult game". There are quite a few cult hits in the history of gaming, but Platinum Games titles exclusive to one console have a slim chance without having a huge name behind it.

Madworld did 720k, that was a Platinum exclusive.

There's no way W101 will be a "hit" in terms of budget if  it really is more expensive than Bayonetta, though.

I find some of VGC's Platinum numbers a bit hard to believe.

At 700k+ sold for Madworld and almost 2 million for Bayonetta ... both games should've made a fairly decent profit for Sega (discount bin or not), yet they chose to cut ties with Platinum and passed on Bayonetta 2 entirely. Something doesn't add up and it's not like any of Platinum's games had a Halo 4 budget.

I imagine the actual sales of said games aren't quite as flattering. If there's any constant in this business it's that a profitable game generally ensures a sequel without much fuss.

I don't consider myself too old, I just grew up so childrens TV no longer appeals to me, it isn't a choice, it a natural progression.  Some people it fails to happen in.

Do u consider adults who like E rated games or PG movies, failed adults?

Those shows I listed arent aimed strictly at kids, Regular Show is 90% 80s references that most kids wont understand and Ninja Turtles is also aimed at the people who watched the original back in the day.

You are a failure. Grow up.

Ur right Rol, shame on me for enjoying movies like Monsters University, shows like Last Airbender, games like LittleBig Planet, comics like Spider-Man. I guess I should become a real man and only watch R rated movies and play M rated games.

Flop of the generation.

Well, the 8th gen's only been going for 9 months...

5k-6k is worst than I thought. I was expecting 13-15k at least.

1.5x the budget for Bayonetta and that didn't do very well. Had to hit a very low price point to achieve the majority of its 2 million sales.

It will be the next EarthBound. It will sell awfully, but it will be a cult-classic.
