I hate that i dont have enough disposable income at the moment to pick up the game. Will be buying it and doing my best to support Platinum on the Wii U as soon as i can.

Good, cos the rest of us will have fun doing the things that make us happy instead of worrying about whether they fit some restrictive dogma of "adulthood". :)
They are lucky nintendo is picking up the tab because this game is looking like a sales nightmare. The game wouldve been better off multiplat. Its never smart to commission platinum games titles at the.beginning of a generation to sell systems.

Nobody said Nintendo planned this as a killer app. As was said elsewhere, Nintendo clearly didn't think Wii U would perform poorly, and to them this was just another game.
I hardly doubt it would have been better off multiplat, though. It's just a weird game, however you slice it.
It *might* have done better as a 3DS or Vita game.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
I already knew this game was going to sell wayyyy less than what Nintendo fans were hyping it up for. It might be a good game, but it only appeals to a very low amount of people.

I think that you'd admit the game would have done much better as Wii U/PS3/360. They might have been able to pool together 500k before the year's end. It certainly would have sold better in Japan at least.
