Forums - Gaming Discussion - Splinter Cell Blacklist Performance Comparison – PS3/Xbox360/Wii U

Lens of Truth has compared all three consoles version of Splinter Cell Blacklist to see which version performs the best. Hit the link to find out.

”In the end we feel the overall better experience belongs to the Wii U. Although, the load times were much longer on the Wii U and the PlayStation 3 textures were slightly more detailed throughout, we still feel that due to the superior performance of the Wii U version not having any screen tearing and texture resolution almost on par with the PlayStation 3, the overall better experience was on the Wii U. Below are the videos for the Wii U, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 analysis.”

I heard from people on Miiverse saying the exact same thing about Splinter Cell Blacklist on Wii U having better graphics, and less screen tearing than the other console versions of the game. There is no doubt about it. The Wii U version of Splinter Cell: Blacklist is the definitive version.Which it should be, the only thing that needs to be addressed is the loading issues. I don't think Ubisoft had the time to use the eDRAM sections or they could have gotten those load times quicker.

Good for Wii U. Hope it sells.

If true it's sad so few players get to experience the 'best' quality of a last gen game.

Isn't the WiiU version missing multiplayer? It can hardly be the definitive version if its missing half the game.

A shame nowhere stocks it, and the ads deny it's exsistance, then.

The ad i saw had the Wii U logo. It really didn't mention any specific platforms aside from a splash of all the platforms.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Quite interesting that they say the PS3 version has better textures. In all of the screenshots they posted, it's quite noticeable the Wii U version has better textures.

That's a funny conclusion to come up with for a site called "The Lens of Truth".

Hmm, the UK one I saw showed boxes of the PS360 and PC, but no Wii U.

Hopefully it does well, but I doubt it, as a lot seem to mention that the retailers are not stocking the game.
