You can just buy a different console if yoou don't like the way their packaging their hardware. Honestly companies don't have to abide by some non existent rule where a console can only launch with a the console and a controller packeged in the box if they want to try something different their free to do so. I for one applaud Microsoft for trying this method it may work it may not, but it's their choice. The ps3 was overpriced at lanuch though in the end the blue ray drive was a good investment it didnt have to be in the console, but sony put it in there regardless it hurt them at first but it has shown a lot f benefits these past few years. 

You are completely right on the price if you take in account the eye toy, but to be honest most people who are interested in Fifa are not interested in Eye Toy or Kinect. Next to that for my region the MS is not including Fifa in their bundle, so for me it's still cheaper to buy a PS4 if you want to play Fifa.

Of course they don't but don't justify a cost of the kinect when comparing to the ps4 or wii u it;s not an extra part, it is the console. That's the risk Micorosoft took, is the kinect features worth the extra $100? Not imo but the main stream market will determine that, people don't have to act hard done by just becuase people opinion differ to theirs.  

No one seems to be mentioning that PS Plus is going to be bringing it's own slew of free games every month to PS4, which so far doesn't seem to be the case with Gold. Seeing as most people who buy PS4 will also likely buy PS+ to play MP, that is a pretty big deal on Sony's side.

thing is, xbox one has kinect and if we look at the production costs microsoft will probably bleed more money than sony with every sold console.

pretty easy calculation, xbox one is more expensive but does also cost more to produce which makes the deal as fair as the ps4 price.  

if you don't want kinect just don't buy the console but if you are fine with it you will also understand that the price has to be higher. 

not sure what's so hard to understand with that looking at the production costs.

anyway, you can buy a ps2 with 10 games for that price and that's as irrelevant as your ps3 example.

ps4 is competing with wii u and xone and sony's statement wasn't the most intelligent since it makes the ps4 look good in comparisson to xone and bad in comparisson to wii u.

sonic, W101, batman, AC4, watch dogs, splinter cell, ghosts, bayonetta2, lego city...

What's trolling about what he said? Most gamers buy third party offerings mostly. So for the core gamers it's either the PS4 or the Xbone as far as home consoles go. The majority wouldn't even consider the WiiU unless you were a fan of Nintendo games.
