Oh man, it looks sooooo good. So slick and stylish, if only it wasn't for the weird selling point they are trying to use. $20 for 8 characters sounds awful and $5 per character is even worst.

Thats just one option. You can just buy it off he shelf in disc like any other game at launch.

They are just giving people who perhaps don play many fightng games to get into the game if they wish with smaller risk investment. Good idea to entice new people  to the genre and the fanchise.

Ah, that sounds more like it. But are the characters available to try before you buy them? Maybe like a small rotating roster, a la League of Legends? Cause that sounds like a bigger issue for the casuals who probably would not bother to look into the specfics of that character. A big roster can be overwhelming and a bit pricey at $60 but you get all content (excluding DLCs) You lose nothing with simplying trying out a character, where in Double Helix's system, you might buy a character based on looks and later on, you realize it isn't for you.

Also, how many characters would the physical disc come with, if these bundles only come with 8 and 2 of them are future characters?

If it ever comes out for PS4, i hope they do a "GOTY" edition or something.

Unnfortunately Microsft own the IP. They inherited it from Rare when they bought Rare. As it was Rares IP. They made KI on Snes, then KI Gold On N64. There was a 3rd game at Arcades.

Im not sure on the details of characters though.Thats not been announced.

Still if you like the game after maybe trying att a friends you could always get a One in a few years whn they are much cheaper. You'll ave plenty of games on PS4 to love and play. If thats your opening console for the new gen. :)

It's really not out of the realm of possibility. I'm not buying either one on launch, my PS3 still has plenty of live left to it. If the Xbox One can get pass most of this initial turmoil, it might be worth looking into later on.

New livestream: http://www.twitch.tv/iebattlegrounds

This game is best thing to happen in E3 in my opinion , Other than MGS5 and FFXV

Thanks for that this livestream is pretty sweet.
