bad choice.

PlayStation is about the long-haul, you are not just investing in it for its first few years, but its entire life-cycle which will be filled with impressive games.

plus, we get inFAMOUS which looks like the only true next-gen game i've saw (those particle effects...)

fixed version:

Good choice.

Playsation is about the long-haul, so you can always get this PS4 later for its excellent exclusives and not really miss out at a lower cost of entry.

MY CRAZY!

*takes the crazy and runs*

Long term, PS4 is almost certainly the best idea. Just look at the number of exclusive games that M$ have released in the last 2 years compared to Sony, I have bought just 1 Xbox 360 game released this year (Gears of War Judgement).

Microsoft had lots of exclusive games for the first few years last generation and then it definitely faded away, their initial early investment has to count for something long term, so they can't keep throwing around $50m to get timed exclusives

Anyway, it doesn't really matter, most of your gaming time is going to be spent playing cross-platform games. The best game of this year is clearly going to be GTA V (Watch_Dogs is the only next-gen contender) and we have absolutely no idea what games are coming next year

All I know, is that Sony have more quality games studios than M$ and with the oh so very exciting confirmation that Naughty Dog, SCE Santa Monica and Media Molecule are not in fact twiddling their thumbs and are indeed working on PS4 games, the PS4 seems to have a better pipeline of games coming.

But that's just my rational behind buying a PS4. I explained this to my friend and he responded "but Halo." So each to their own

So it makes sense to buy it in a few years (PS4)

Infamous is kinda unecessary with Saints Row 4 and GTA5 covering our sandbox needs.

So don't buy Watch_Dogs, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flags, the Crew, the Division, Destiny (kind of open-worldy.... I could go on. Saints Row is out now, GTA is out in September, inFamous is out 5 months later. I know GTA V will make every other game seem crap in comparion (in every way other than graphics), but I think we can manage to play 2 open-world games in 5 months

Infamous isn't the only game with particle effects:

that looks like 4th of july.

Superior Graphics != Better game

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

It is the better choice really. Playstation 4 is heavily overrated and won't get special exclusives at/after launch. Xbox One is getting lots of (unique) exclusives on launch and launchwindow. Ryse, Titanfall, Dead Rising, Halo, Fable, Killer Instinct, Forza 5, Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive, Project Spark. I think these are really unique and better games. Get the Xbox One.

do w.e the hell u want

It just seems to me like MS is really good at putting out a strong launch lineup. XBox and XBox 360 both had really solid launches too IMO.

 But the core gamers that purchased got really screwed over in the long run, especially with the 360. I don't think the XBone will be any different, unfortunately. :(

The Kinect being a major part of most games is the biggest turn off for me, right now.
