Ya I don't get this article the guys saying no triple AAA games. Yet sony has games coming for ps3 and ps4? We all know what these games are. To announce a release date and price cuts on hardware is pretty big step you ask me. I was shocked because I wasn't planning on mid Nov. I figured nov 28 or dec 7 somewhere between these dates. I did not pre-order ps4. I was planning on Christmas for ps4 now im looking at end of nov , early December if not earlier for ps4 purchase. This is really cool though because I want battlefield 4 and ghost for ps4! Still kinda shocked though less than 3 months away. HELLSYAAAAAAAAAAA!

I have to agree. I thought there would be a UC4 or some other big announcements. I was happy about the price cuts and the indie games were alright but not really my cup of tea. Still I was planning to wait a couple of years before getting the ps4 so not a big deal.

It definitely wasnt a bad conference but I think some of the posters on here hyped it up too much. Before Gamescon whenever there was a negative comment about PS4 line up u would see a bunch of responses like "dude wait for Gamescon, thats when Sony shows all the good stuff". Basically it was price cuts and a bunch of indie games, which isnt a bad thing, but I was expecting at least one megaton announcement.

By the way, Shadow of the Beast looked badass

Disappointing because of point 1

You just wait, it's the beginning of a console generation. Not all the best shit comes right away guy.

Remember when everyone was crying "RIP PS3" when that came out? Now look at the PS3's library. They have some of their top developers working on new titles for PS4, sequels, brand new ip's, you name it.

Sony proved this generation and previous generations that they can produce quality AAA games, and I have 100% faith that they will do some pretty mindblowing things with the PS4.

I for one cannot WAIT for all the big developers, and new developers to make amazing games like they did on PS3. It's going to be great.

for me was better than E3
on e3 they showed pre-alpha of their games.

on gamescom we saw this

and this

was good enough for me
and we know sony has a lot to show

they learn their lesson with psvita

i dont want 20 games on day one and dont have nothing to play  for the rest of the year

for me the conference was good enough

”The environment where PlayStation wins is best for this industry” (Jack Tretton, 2009)

Yea. very disappointing.

Wat? How did you miss Shadow of the Beast?! Blasphemy!

The PS4 stuff was good/okay
...the Vita section....bah ! Price has never been a problem for me, I could have bought the Vita Mega Pack (including the 8 gb memory card with 3 good and 7 shitty games) for 180 Euros recently (brand new )
...Borderlands 2...and Football Manager...

Isn't Gamescom always underwhelming when it comes to 'new' games and stellar announcements?

We all know for a while now what we'll be getting at launch and surely both systems will deliver in the near future.
