Sigh.......because 360 is allready capitalizing on it. Thats 8+ million sales Sony didn't get.

And I'm guessing 360 owners won't come to next--gen? Or that there aren't any ps3 owners that might like Minecraft?

ummm....so? Sales are sales. Money is money. Fanbase is fanbase. And despite what you've said earlier in this thread, there isn't a downtrend. 11,000+ copies of the game are sold daily even to this day, years after the game has came out, as someone else has pointed out.
You're argument is saying that it's pointless for put a game out on a platform after it's sold X amount on another. With something like KH3, for example, I can understand because Xbox owners just aren't gonna buy it....or at least, it'll sell a small fraction of what the PS4 version will sell. But this is Minecraft. It's selling millions across all platforms, years after release. So, sure, there's 8+ million sales Sony didn't get. That doesn't mean that there aren't more fans out there to buy the game. Otherwise the game would have, and try to grasp this, stopped selling.
Not to mention that you've been trumpeting it as a console exclusive and it was a "big reason the get the Xbox One"...now you're just doing damage control

not a megaton...probably a bigaton; MS has been touting the success of Minecraft including it making it's jump exclusively to the XB1 at E3. Not that it's a huge deal of MS losing the console exclusivity of Minecraft as this really wasn't a system seller but Sony will probably atleast equate the sales of Minecraft between PS4/PS3/PSV

Im saying that PS4 sales are a fraction to what MS allready made on the game and is cashing in too late. Thats real damage control.

So, the game is still selling millions to this day, and Sony is about to get in on millions...but it's somehow cashing in too late? Ok.
STOP THE PRESSES!
This just in: when a commodity is still cashing in years after release, don't try to get in on it and benefit from the continuation of strong sales. It's just too late for you. Sure, you could get a couple million new users of this item, which trends show would happen given how popular this item is; but other people which it was available to have already had it. Your base that hasn't had the item available to them ---> they just won't want it. So just ignore the fact that this commodity is just printing money and continues to do so to this day. It's too late.

It is pretty awful, isn't it?
Anyways, edited the title so that it actually pertains to the news announced today and not some factually incorrect bait-title.
Also added a source to the OP so it's at least somewhat servicable.
But keep it coming guys. Get your pot shots in before the day is through! I'm sure Kaz and Ballmer are keeping tabs on how much you guys are taking it for the team.
*grumbles*

Some of us are happy it is coming to PS4 because we want to play it on PS4 and not have buy the bone to play the new version.
