This whole situation is seriously begin to look like PS3 launch 2.0.

-> Ps3 is awesome
-> PS4 is just more powerful

Enough to me, thanks Microsoft

Ps3 sold less first holyday than PS4 has preorders right now.

Sounds okay to me and many other game players.

Hmm, pie.

That's kind of how Sony works. From PS1 to PS2 to PS3 to PS4, or PSP to PSV--Sony just throws more power at their consoles and watches what the competition is doing. When something works for the competition, Sony adds it to their repertoire. Sony is like a kid at school that copies off of your paper and somehow still scores higher than you on the test.

Can you list what Sony copied from the others?

No.

*edit*

Well, yeah, I could.  I just don't feel like this.  Sure, I would point out something but then you'd find a caveman drawing of something else and say that Sony didn't react to the competition.  I wasn't going to mention the Wii Remote or or the SNES controller layout but what's the point?  You're one of those guys that feel that Sony can do no wrong.  If I said Trophies were a direct response to Achievements or something, you'd say that was Sony's plan all along.  Not in the mood.  Maybe another day.

I wanted to point out your edit. Very well writen :) Could not disagree with anything.

I am meaning that MS comments and arrogance since the reveals, the higher XBone price tag and not too positive media coverage is beginning to look like how it was for PS3 back in 2006.

The only real HUGE difference is that SONY was coming off (2) straight gen victories and MS is coming off (2) straight 3rd place finishes, albeit the 2nd finish was extremely impressive when compared to the 1st.

A more powerful PS3? Thank you sir, you just sold me on it!

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

No.

Thanks

No problem.

I will say this, though:  If you and I were to design a console, we'd come up with the PS4 or the Vita.  It's the easiest way to approach the situation.  Better graphics, more power, etc.  We lack creativity.  In a million years, guys like you and I wouldn't have the courage to base our entire console around something like motion controls, analog sticks (Yeah I KNOW the N64 wasn't the first to have analog), two screens, Kinect, Broadband, etc. until we saw somebody else doing it successfully.

More power and a good controller.  That's the easy way because that's what gamers are familiar with.

Why? I agree with Trophies and Move points... the controller not because the first DualShock changed what the controller was designe after that... no copy.
