Apparently she missed the day in kindergarten where you learn that words can't hurt you.

While she might have missed that day, I think he missed the one where you were taught not to be a dick and respectful to others

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

You know as well as I do that this is a story because she's female and this is about sexual harrassment.  Had this been about a guy, there would be no story.  If it had been a female and the language hadn't been gender-specific, there probably wouldn't have been a story then, either.  Do you seriously think otherwise?

I dont know.  If a guy told another guy the same thing and then he told the news about it,  good chance it could make the news.   Could be called something like "Verbal abuse  and threats on Xbox Live" with a bunch of comments similar to it. Just making sure it wasnt an edit because that is "not cool at all"

Haha, I get it now.

Regardless, no, places like Kotaku or Destructoid only run these stories if they can sensationalize them.  Other players have to wait all the time.  This should only be a story if the person in question had to wait way over the average, which is not mentioned.

lol  ;P

You probably didnt read my edit but I do agree with you on the process of dealing with complaints so you know :)

Guess many people here don't know what customer service is. In my company most CS complaints get dealt with in a day or 2, at most a week if it requires fixing something. Sure our issues are less subjective but good customer relations means returning business and certainly means less articles like this in the public domain. If they dealt with it early, especially after the first time she went to the twitter CS then it probably wouldn't even be known about.

And stop defending this biggot.

Hmm, pie.

I dont even take the time to open messages from people not on my friends list. Quit being pussies everyone

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Lol, touche, very true.

I just expected everyone to be like "omg that's so rude, that poor, helpless female" and I wanted to provide a sensible response to the abuse (blocking it) and moving on.

I've worked Xbox Live customer support.

We aren't talking about normal issues, we're talking about issues which require the authority to ban an account, a power that belongs to only a few people in the system.  Situations like that also require an investigation and some cases can take awhile.  People just have to wait, it's as simple as that.

Doesn't XBL have a block feature?

Blocking him instead of reporting him means he just moves on to the next person so he can continue to infect everyone with his stupidity.

Internet or not, you shouldn't have to expect to deal with people like that. Even more so when it's a paid service.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

The problem with stupidity is that it's never in short supply.

You stopped one person, but thousands more just created accounts. Bravo(?)

Just seems like more effort than it's worth. Block, report, move on. No need to follow up, unless of course you're an oversensitive person with nothing but time on your hands.
