Bioshock Infinite by a mile, not only graphics but incredible design that like the original crafts a memorable setting none of the games listed here can match... although Metro: Last Light comes close at least the parts I've experienced are not as visually diverse as Bioshock Infinite.

I didn't find SotC particularly eye-pleasing :o. None of the above, really lulz (except for Journey and Ni No Kuni, especially Journey. That is a stunner).

I have to choose TLoU out of the options, while Bioshock: I would take second place. Borderlands 2 on PC also looks damn good.


Running around in the vast open desolate landscapes is something I still like to come back to.
The ps2 did butcher a lot of the visuals, the game didn't really shine until the HD release.

@Wright El Shadai is one of my favorites too this gen. I would put it in the same league as Journey for pleasing visuals, too bad the low resolution didn't do the game justice.

Bioshock infinite had a very pleasing opening, but beyond that there were many levels that were just ok.

From the list I'd say Bioshock Infinite, but Rook Island in Far Cry 3 is my favourite place to visit. That sunny Island is just beautiful on my gaming rig. I can almost feel the sunshine. The rest on the list are too dark and dingy for my liking.
