Why would they screw over 8 countries though? Couldn't they just make more consoles?

Same reason why Sony delayed PS3 into 2007.
My guess, its all Don Mattricks fault and MS is trying to clean up the mess he started.
If sony thinks they can now release the ps4 also in 2014 here, I will be very, very pissed

I really did not like that guy and I really do believe Microsoft is better off without him. Of all the douchebags I've seen on a stage this year, he was by far the biggest of them all.

Marketplace won't be IP-locked,but some games will some games not, depands on publisher
and to think all MS had to do was repeat the same winning strategy they had, and release sooner. A 2012 Xbox 1 would have been a game changer.

They are having trouble to launch in 2013... I think in 2013 they didn't have the Xbone close to ready yet.

Well, it depends on what winning is. To many people, the XBox One already has won with it's game lineup, however sales wise, yes it probably will lose.

Dude..you know Sony is going to launch in more countries. The PS4 has been prepped for a larger market and the console was even finished before Microsofts. That and Microsoft has to strategize to break Sonys hold in other countries. Sony already has their foot through the next gen door with a lot of positivity behind it.
