Lets not be hasty here guys....Sony is yet to reveal exactly which countries will be getting the PS4 this year aswell, we could very much see the same thing happening to the PS4.

"Microsoft also announced today a loosening of the Xbox One's regional restrictions. "You could buy a console in any country and use it any country," Whitten said. "You can use any disc in that console.""

That is a definite possibility but there's been no rumours of Sony having yield problems, the preorders are outstripping the X1 and Sony have encouraged sites like Amazon to continue taking preorders even when the stock was said to have gone. That sounds confident to me.

The PS5 Exists.

Fair enough, I just see alot of people making a big fuss when I'm pretty sure everyone in this thread in particular wouldnt have brought one anyways.

I don't think the person on Twitter complained about region lock, he complained about not being able to buy DLC.

The first tweet is about region lock

About DLC,it just same for 360 or even PS3-of course you can't get any DLC if your country not supported,but you can always create a US account or use region change system

If anyone from Switzerland is reading this thread (do we even have users from Switzerland?) - I'm pretty sure Barozi will export some Xbones to you

EDIT: Disregard, the marketplace is IP-locked >:{

So then maybe this would mean bigger shipments in the countries they are launching in.
