You cant actually think fable will sell more then the final fantasy remaster, it won't even be close

the ico collection managed to sell 1m units lifetime, and it's a niche franchise

so prepared to be shocked

I already mentioned that early Remastered games sold like new games.  Now they don't push anywhere near that amount.

Three great franchises and one that wishes it was great.

Fable not getting alot of love on here huh, Anyways not to throw this off topic but has anyone heard anything new about the Vita version of X and X-2? See i need to add them to my collection and have the PS3 version preordered but i seen nothing about preordering the Vita versions of both games (im under the idea that Vita will be 2 different games unlike the combo PS3 version) I hope they don't make it an digital download because i want box art love for the Vita!

Yes I do.  Looking at each one of these i learned three things.  

1. Fable has increased in popularity and many people who has played 2 and 3 has not played 1 due to X360 being much more popular than XB.  I could also see it being treated lik a flagship title this holiday for X360.
2. Final Fantasy has declined in the 7th generation drasticly.
3.  HD Remastered collections has been on the decline.

I dont have a big enough pool to work with for remakes but I do know Ocarina of Time and Halo anniversary both sold multimillions.  This could be rewarded because they look like 7th generation games rather than just doing HD remastered.

As I said I could be wrong but when i look at the data that is what Im going to predict.  Though im not sure what to expect from fable.

As thinkman said FF is also more popular than these other franchises so that may be where I predict wrong, btu when I look at the decline of FF in recent years Im going to have to stick to what I said.

Dont want to knit pick but Final Fantasy 13 is the 4th best selling FF if you include ps360 which would put it at 7m probably would have sold better if it didnt review so bad compared to prevous titles, this would put it ahead of ff12 meaning that sales arent really decline its just that its gone multiplatform. Also sequals to main entries dont sell very well. The fact that this is exclusive and was a well recieved Final Fantasy will push this. And I dont know if you have seen the images but this isnt just any old HD update the quality of the graphics have gone up alot more then HD collections before have. 

Edited: they redesigned all the playable characters and major characters thats why they looks much better then most HD upgrades.

If it is a true remake(Looks like a 7th gen game) and not  Remaster Ill say FF will sell more.  If it is just an HD Upgrade then Ill say Fable.

Let's just forget that final fantasy 13 was on the 360 then... And look at the hd remaster list, silent hill, zone of enders, ratchet, devil may cry, jak and daxter

All off them are not system sellers, infact the only moderate system seller on that list is god of war

And that list isn't in any order at all, considering silent hill came out BEFORE the devil may cry trilogy

Plus fable 3 falls into the same catogory as uncharted 3 and every forza game, it was bundled "ALOT" which inflated it's sales

You do know the original final fantasy x and x-2 games sold over 13m units right? no idea why you think a remake off a game which sold slightly over 2m would do better, that's just silly

Id say its a bit of both, They have redesigned alot of things in the game, They quoted saying the characters used to be a single texture now they have separated them from their clothes to add extra detail. 

Most HD remakes just up the resolution, add trophies and bump the frame rates upto 60fps then launch. I can guarantee you this if this is an HD remake it will be of the highest quality among them.
