2011 ⇒ 590,875
2012 ⇒ 277,094
2013 ⇒ 277,195 ←←←

Weird, that something like that would happen.

Word of mouth is probably the only explanation. Enough people told others it was a good game so they picked it up on discount or something.

I'm guessing some Dalmatians bought the game. Very impressive, I wonder how many games this happens to.

its hard to track if youdont look yourself unfortunately, this might happen with SSBB if holiday treats it good [last year around 610k///this year its at 280k]

Maybe some let's players on youtube made more people take a peak at it (in addition to the sales it would have gotten otherwise as well)..? Very impressive either way.

I think it has more to do with how the Wii U is doing. Little options for a while with a bunch of new Wii U and even Wii owners.

I think eventually even Wii sports and other Wii mainstays could do this as well.

That's a good point. Didnt' consider WiiU buyers buying Wii games they missed due to drought on WiiU.

I'm happy Epic Yarn is selling so well, but I'm confused as to why. Even considering that its had price cuts at many places, I don't see why sales are so high. Maybe parents just see the cover and grab it for little ones?

GTAIV goes Up YoY too... there are a lot of games.

I think its this. Most of Wii current sales are probably from parents buying young kids there first console and with games like Smash Bros, Mario Kart, NSMB still $50, Epic Yarn looks like a steal at $20

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.
