A boost but nothing insanely big. Monster Hunter is known to not be that big on consoles. Out of 8 MH console games only 1 have sold more than 1 million (Monster Hunter Tri for the Wii), so yeah Monster Hunter have never been that big on consoles. 

It didn't helped the 360 so it won't help the Wii U.

The game sells because it's portable. People would just not treat it as main series.

It would certainly help sales. And the game could be bigger/better. I understand their logic, 3DS is the hot selling handheld, where the series has made it's bread and butter. MH3 did really well on Wii, but I'm sure they want to continue their portable success.

It wouldn't kill them to make a Wii U port of 4 though.

considering the number of ports MH3 had, I'm sure they will. they'll just leave the 3ds version selling as an exclusive for a while.

but MH4U will be here soon. You don't need to care

OT: it would speed up my process of acquiring a U.

It would give a minor boost but still wind up selling less then the Wii's MH3.

MH is biggest in Japan and while Japanese gamers are loyal, I don't see them shelling out the cash to get MH4 when they no doubt can guess that it will land on a portable before long if they don't buy it.

Wow.. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is one of the few must have titles currently out on the Wii U.. that would be awesome if 4 came out on Wii U... it would help with sales in Japan.. and most likely do good here..

It would help Japan sales a lot.

Firstly It wouldn't sell very flash ( Im pretty sure no console MH sells that great)

Secondly it would give the WiiU a nice boost.
