I think I might get it for 5€ in the next Steam Sale...

Since you seem to have played the game, is the combat system as bad as it seems in many Let's Plays? All I see is the main character hitting enemies for five minutes without any effect...

Started playing the PC version but stopped after getting to a glitch. During a certain boss fight, you have to press some QTE's and the last one from this boss fight, it doesn't register your input so you could never advance. They eventually released a patch to fix it but by then, I had gotten fed up and had moved on.

After the initial E3 video, that's about it. But after people saw gameplay footage, how many of them actually even cared? The game looked pretty bad and then the reviews that came up kind of said what I was assuming.

the combat is all the bad you do get special abilities once you continue advancing through the game, the game dose accept to do something different which I liked because I was sick of the same type of games over and over again.

I played it, and I thought it was great. It could have been a lot better, sure, but it was a good first attempt.

The art style was beautiful, the combat was nice and fluid, and there were some unique ideas in there. The platforming elements were the game's weakest aspect, and imo it's the main reason for the game's relatively low scores. When a game is as linear as this one, they expect more thrilling set pieces to navigate through.

I'd still recommend playing it though.

Never heard about it.
