Its not PS4... geez how many times do we have to say that Hideo Baba was ABSOLUTELY CLEAR that they arent developing for PS4. They are sticking with PS3 cause thats where their audience is.

Do not expect a Tales title on PS4 until another 2 or 3 years.

 

 

Back on topic... Booo! I like Tales of Creales.

Zes...something sounds yucky, but doesnt matter. Zestiria sounds alot like Vesperia wich is amusing.

They're porting Vesperia under the name Zestiria to avoid lawsuits from Microsoft.

Given theres a PS3 version its unlikely! xD Microsoft doesnt own any right of the Tales series.

We might have said the same thing about Final Fantasy, Deus Ex, Street Fighter, Breath of Fire and several other games but companies want that money all the same.

So, that's why FF15 and SF5 are on iOS and Andriod.....

Breah of Fire 6 is an experiment from a largely dead and a franchise that was never popular.

To repeat Soriku, there's no evidence to support you in regards to this situation.

I should have been a bit clearer, I didn't mean that it won't release for PS3, what I meant is that later on it will most likely come out on a next-gen console, the developer won't just come out and say that it will also release for next gen because then that will ruin the sales of this gens version.

Also, please remember this is the same studio that almost bankrupted because they invested what they had on Vesperia early in the generation and it bombed on the 360. They will not take that risk again.
They might port something at some point to test the waters but a PS4 Tales wont be coming anytime soon.

It was not only the 360 vesperia tha caused loses, graces for wii and some of those ds games where less than succesful as well. They never fully said in detail what caused them to lose a million each year, but it had to be because of more than one game. Regardless glad their doing much better now. With Abyss 3ds and the flock of ps3 titles selling rpetty good they seem to be on the right path again.

Indeed. That is why its unlikely they will deviate from their present strategy anytime soon.
