I'm pretty sure ubisoft is waiting for the performance of AC4 and watch dogs on wii u before announcing other games. watch dogs took 8 months to be confirmed on wii u, I can't see why the same won't happen with The division.
PS: X is in a whole different league of "open world". you can't really compare those landscapes with those "small" city enviroments.

tbh i don't really care either way about this issue but uh... seriously?
GTA 5 : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-xHcvug3WI
X : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6Q4ld4uqcY
does anyone who isn't a nintendo fan really think X looks better than gta 5?
especially when you consider that the world of gta 5 will be far far far more interactive? and filled with far far far more content?

you're comparing GTA V, which has been in development for several years, and it's coming out at the end of the consoles' life cycle where their potential has been realized, and has a huge budget, to a game that has been developed for a little more than a year and is coming out at the beginning of a console's life cycle where the console's full power is still far from realization, and is on a significantly smaller budget.
and judging by the scale of Xenoblade 1, it's pretty safe to assume that this game will definately be big and interactive, and who knows? maybe it'll be bigger than GTA despite the limited sources i listed above, we still don't know much about the game too, and it'll get polished a lot before it's release in 2014 (compare the january trailer and the E3 trailer).
a more fair comparison IMO is GTA IV vs Monolith Soft's X, and X just blows it out of the water, and even then GTA IV probably was developed longer and had a much bigger budget, now imagine a Xenoblade game that has been in development for several years, and comes out at the end of the Wii U's life cycle, with a big budget, imagine how GTA V would look compared to that?
