No. The game is no different from the other special editions. But unlike some ports that don't utilize touch, Darksiders II lets you access EVERYTHING via touch even in the middle of an attack instead of stopping/loading the menu etc. There is a lot of menu traversal. Wii U is the definitive version.

I should warn you the downside to owning the wii u version is the occasional screen tear. It never personally bothered me but its a complaint that gets tossed around by some. You can see it in this video at 2:03 minutes

All versions of this game have screen tearing. I have played it on PS3, PC and Wii U and itÄs just bad in this regard everywhere. The Wii U version also has longer loading times between zones though.

I got mine last Christmas. I should've waited until this year. Unacceptable for Nintendo to put it's fans through such a long drought. I'm glad games are coming out though...finally.

You didnt describe why you are happy with it right now, only what you are going to purchase.  It sounds like you are happy with it even though you havent bought any games, but I may have misunderstood.

 

Or do you mean you are you happy with the thought of being able to play the games you have not got yet ?

Yes, it includes built-in bonus DLC not found (unless paid for and downloaded) on the PS360.  That's the main reason I picked it over the 360 version is so that I don't have to pay for those extra packs.  Other than that the games are pretty much similar with minor visual diffrences between versions.
