Special thanks to poroporo for letting me know Wii U's were gonna go on sale at Walmart, I ended up picking mine up for only $200.  I did get the basic bundle, but tbh I prefer it over the delux, I hate black consoles, they get dusty so quick and it is impossble to keep them clean, with a white console even if it gets dusty you can't even tell, also I would have fingerprint marks all over my controller.  I have no interest in Nintendo Land, if I change my mind I can always get it off Amazon for $20.  I didn't buy any games with it because Pikmin 3 is coming out on Sunday and I wanted that to be my first game, but I wont pick it up day one because I already pre-ordered Tales of Xillia which comes out on tuesday and I don't want to spend $120+tax in 1 week on games.  From what I've seen though Pikmin 3 looks amazing and is definitely a next gen game in my book.  I didn't get NSMBU because tbh I don't think that game is worth $60, so I will probably wait for that to drop a little, although I might be waiting a while since Nintendo games rarely go on sale.  I thought NSLU was out and was gonna buy that, but its only out digitally and the physical release isn't til the end of August, which I'd rather wait for than buy the digital version.  All in all I know there's a bunch of great Wii U excluives coming out in the next year and I'm happy I got the console so I'm ready for those games, especially X.  If there's a shortage of copies, like with Xenoblade Chronicles, I'm glad I got my Wii U now and can pre-order it.

Awesome, glad your content with your purchase. I have had it since Christmas and I'm not all that impressed with it. I'd recommend trying out ZombiU if you're into those type of games. I have NSMBU and I don't like it, oddly enough I enjoyed NSMB2 better. Nintendo Land is ok and I also got BO2 and thats ok as well. So I'm pretty meh with it atm. Hopefully Pikmin 3 and W101 will change that.

NSMBU is just under $45 on Amazon here in the States. That's what you guys get for having those $350 Pikmin 3 deluxe bundles. :P

I agree. I bought the white one. No smudges. 32gigs isn't a storage worth using. And Nintendoland.. i bought it for $20. It'd be fun if i had friends that want to play it, but single player is not much. Speaking of $20 games, the launch ports are really good if you haven't played them. Darksiders II and Arkam City make good use of the touchscreen! They're so cheap too. I think you can still get Donkey Kong for 30¢. It ain't much but still. Oh yeah and www.playon.tv is a good streaming media service I use it everyday :) Enjoy!

Thanks for reminding me about Arkham City Armored Edition!  Completely forgot, its one of favorite games this gen and I'd love an excuse to play it again, especially with all the extra content/features.  That might end up being my first Wii U game.

If been debating for a few months on weather or not I should buy a Wii U because there are some great games coming out for it in the coming months. There are a few games I would love to play now like Pikmen 3 and Earthbound but I decided I should just wait till Super Mario 3D World drops this December before picking it up. Hopefully by then there might be a price cut. *crosses fingers* But congrats on the purchase!

congrats on the purchase, i love my wiiu. monster hunter 3 ultimate is such a addictive game, its not funny. :)
darksiders 2 is very good game on the wiiu, so is need for speed most wanted the best console version hands down.
black ops2 is a blast as well, the best co-op since one person has the tv and the other has the gamepad screen.
trine 2 directors cut is very good game

It's no longer under demos, but right next to it under applications. You basically get the entire demo and extra challenges on top of that. Plus, as far as I can tell, there are no limits to how many times you can boot it up.

No problem. It has upgraded graphics too as you probably already know. and lemme say again, for good measure, Darksiders II is a must own wii u game. The voice acting, music, story, art style, gameplay, level design is all AAA. It's like zelda mixed with arkam city. To bad it was a sleeper hit. We need more games that look like demon comic art.
