The PS4 day one will have half as many exclusives the Wii U after 9 months has had, the multiplats wont be late or inferior, and they certainly aren't going to have a 7 month drought. I agree with everything else though. Wii U has games, but they just aren't of a high enough quality to justify spending $350. This will be rectified soon though.

Sony will have twenty first party exclusives in the first year. This pales the level of development efficiency Nintendo is offering up. They need to kick it into high gear.

right, I'm still waiting to see a quarter of those promissed 20 FIRST party exclusives.

Dude....Sony hasnt shown all their cards yet. They said they are showing more games at Gamescom and most likely TGS. They also have next years E3. One year of exclusives from launch ends November 2014.

Why not, like they've been outshowing everyone the majority of this gen? Your eyes see what they want to.

sony doesn't have enough studios for half that number and it isn't outshowing anyone.

Don't worry, there is always something new the haters will use to keep the machine nice and well oiled.

Thats the point, they've created multiple productions within one studio or another and work in tandem with second party. Sony Santamonica watches over the major and minor projects for quality assurance. Finally they will let Santamonica free to make their own IP now. Things are looking up.

You underestimate a company big tie which has repurposed most of their developers to split into two and increase the output.

how many of those nameless games will be in the "minor" category? probably most.

With Sonys track record, could you honestly say this because they do everything first party at this point.

With sony's track record, they rarely deliver what they promisse. I'd take those "20 games" with a lot of salt.

You know something funny though? Much like the Wii U, the PS4 only has 3 major exclusives at launch (Knack, DriveClub, and Killzone.) and nobody is saying a single thing about the PS4 having no games. So what gives? The argument makes no sense.

If LBP3 and ND's New IP/Uc4 aren't among that number, then it means nothing to me! Naw, but yeah there's no way any console will ever have a drought as bad as the Wii U's.
