I can't be bothered to count them all, but I'd be shocked if it weren't Nintendo and Capcom.

EA, without counting, probably by a large margin - they had a lot of presence on all platforms I played the most (C64, Amiga, DOS/Win).
Nintendo by an absolute mile. My childhood was the NES/SNES and still love their output now.
Third party, Konami. They were untouchable in the 80s and 90s. It's quite sad to see they've lost their way almost as much as SEGA did. :(
Parodius, Gradius, Pop 'n Twinbee, CastleVania, ISS/Pro Evo, Metal Gear Solid, Turtles In Time, Contra, my god the list of Konami games I loved goes on an on! Thank god CastleVania Lords of Shadow has returned at least one of their series back to it's former glory!
That list in the poll is clearly aimed at kids as none of the great 3rd parties of the glory days of gaming are there :p

I think you might need to clean up a tad bit there lol
Years ago, First Party for me would have been Nintendo. 2003 and beyond, definitely Sony. PS3 has made this console generation amazing. Third Party... Eh... I don't really play many non-Playstation exclusives anymore, so I really can't decide.

Yeah, but those games were made under the publishing of Nintendo, which is why that is a sensitive subject for many.

You would be surprised. We're not talking games here but IP's. I wasn't surprised about Sony, but Square Enix threw me off big time. LOL

Yeah, good point since every Nintendo game would fall under the Mario IP anyway. lawlzzzz
Seriously, though. My childhood was spent on the NES/SNES. I played maybe a handful of first party games on the PS1/PS2, as it wasn't until the PS3 that I really became impressed by Sony's first party. I don't think MS even owns as many IPs as ones I have played of Nintendo's.
So that one's easy. Third party... it's possible but pretty unlikely. The number of franchises Capcom has created over the years is absolutely staggering, and I have played most of them. Squaresoft/-Enix might come close in number of games, but so many of those are Final Fantasy.
Edit: I just counted like 30 Capcom IPs that I've played off the top of my head. No one else even holds a candle to that.
Played more Nintendo IPs than Sony, but Sony isn't very far behind. If it wasn't for the one-off first-party eShop and WiiWare game in the past few years, it would be pretty close.
Third-party would have to be either Capcom or Square-Enix. Not sure which.
