Yeah, good point since every Nintendo game would fall under the Mario IP anyway. lawlzzzz
Seriously, though. My childhood was spent on the NES/SNES. I played maybe a handful of first party games on the PS1/PS2, as it wasn't until the PS3 that I really became impressed by Sony's first party. I don't think MS even owns as many IPs as ones I have played of Nintendo's.
So that one's easy. Third party... it's possible but pretty unlikely. The number of franchises Capcom has created over the years is absolutely staggering, and I have played most of them. Squaresoft/-Enix might come close in number of games, but so many of those are Final Fantasy.
Edit: I just counted like 30 Capcom IPs that I've played off the top of my head. No one else even holds a candle to that.
