It must go by the quantity of IP's (by franchise or single game if not a franchise) to a company, not time invested.
Which company have you played the most IP's from? | |||
| Nintendo | 77 | 51.68% | |
| Sega | 4 | 2.68% | |
| Sony | 44 | 29.53% | |
| Microsoft | 7 | 4.70% | |
| EA | 6 | 4.03% | |
| Activision | 1 | 0.67% | |
| Blizzard | 1 | 0.67% | |
| Valve | 0 | 0% | |
| Rockstar | 0 | 0% | |
| Square Enix | 9 | 6.04% | |
| Total: | 149 | ||

SE they have so much stuff. And even the bad FF spinoffs I have to try, even if I know they're going to be bad :P. And since Eidos was my favorite company for a long time all their games count too.
Nintendo is the other company, where a lot of that criteria fits as well.
I'm not going to count, so one of those.
I'm also not sure listing blizzard was necessary since they make very very few games, I think Actvision Blizzard should be 1? Square-Enix-Eidos is considered one.

I can't really do that. I didn't keep a collection of games. Maybe the fact that it's IP's not games makes Nintendo not a first place, but I don't know.

Look for a website with a stable of the franchises of the company you've played the games on owns.

Nintendo published titles (look for franchises based in a character)

EA ( The franchises will be shown there much easier than Nintendo)

Assassins Creed only counts as one IP. Theres many games for it but its still only one IP.

ahh thought games! not IP's hmm let me see and edit my post

Nintendo: Legend of Zelda, Fire Emblem, Super Smash Bros, Kid Icarus, Pokemon, Pikmin, Dillons Rolling Western, Freakyforms, Disaster: Day of Crisis, Rhythm Paradise, Xenoblade Chronicles, Metroid, Wii Sports (Resort), Mario Kart
Capcom: Zack&Wiki, Okami, Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, (Zelda), Project X Zone
I omitted games I disliked (like main Mario and Street Fighter) or games I don't real think as standalone-games (like Streetpass and Nintendoland). I probably forgot about some games. Ubisoft is competing with Capcom, so far I played Rayman Raving Rabbids, ZombiU, Red Steel. But the demo of Rayman Legends really got me and I will probably pick up Watchdogs.

Yeah, a lot of people who respond are mixing up games with IP's. Games would actually be a totally different companies. I think EA would win for me there and Nintendo would actually have a chance for me against Sony in my lifetime, because I've played a lot of Nintendo games but no where near as many IP's as Sony. Funny, isnt it?
