Forums - Nintendo - Target Doesn’t Know What A Wii U Looks Like

A promotional flyer given out by US retailer Target suggests that the company doesn’t actually know what the Wii U looks like. The latest flyer shows a Wii U GamePad with the Pikmin 3 logo resting on a black Wii console. There’s always the possibility that this will confuse consumers just a little bit more.

Understable considering there are some that believes the gamepad is a Wii addon.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Seriously Nintendo are idiots. First thing I noted was that the system looks like a Wii (why would they release a Wii console that looks like their next one is beyond me).

Lol. I've never been more ashamed to be a Target employee.

At least it is advertised. That's the most positive thing I have thought of.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

I think having Wii in the name is fine, shpuld have been something like Super Wii or Wii Ultra. That would be easier to recognize its an upgrade

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

I honestly don't know why Nintendo had the 2 consoles look so similar and have similar names...

I've seen this in a norwegian commercial too. It was for a company named "Expert."

No it's not nintendo wanted to cater to all audiences with the wii-u, especially to the ones who weren't fond of the wii. Putting "wii" in it's name made the situation worse.
