What you call "for no reason", others would call "being aggressive" and "racing". Maybe you are used to games where instead of "racing" the AI decides to "drive in a set, straight line" and "never deviate". I haven't seen this IGN video you are referring to, perhaps a link?

Here is a nice video. Shows AI spinning out multiple times for being too aggressive and heading into corners too fast. I would take that any day of the week over what we see in other sim racers all the time (even Forza to an extent) where every car runs the same line and no one is aggressive. Yes, give me a game where the AI is like racing online. Please. That is exactly the point of what they are trying to do. You're making their case for them. Thank you, now I am even more intrigued by the possibilities.

2:28 car is being too aggressive. I just noticed that it's the same thing (I think). The IGN one is just a little shorter and it has dev commentery.

Forza AI was already godly as it is. Can't imagine what they will do with 600% more power.
