Don't worry, it's not hard to not talk about games when it comes to the Wii U, being that it has none.

NSMBU, Nintendo Land, Pikmin 3, Lego City, MH3U, RE: Revelations, Injustice, ZombiU, Game & Wario, AssCreed 3, CoD:BO2, NFS: Most Wanted, Sonic & Sega Racing, plus more all say you're wrong!

When you can name a console's entire game library in just two lines after it's been out for almost a year (most of which were released within the first month or so of launch), that's usually not a good thing.

That's nice, but you're still wrong about the Wii U not having any games!

I can still make fun of Sony fans if I want. I just need to steer far, far away from anything remotely mentioning the Wii U.

yeah the vita is an amazing piece of hardware for nintendo fans

To bad sales of the vita are almost as bad as the wii u:)

Nintendo's problems stem from a lot longer than a year ago. Something's been rotten for a while going back to the original Wii going from the fastest selling game console in history to falling off the map its last two years and a poor 3DS launch and a confused Wii U reveal at E3 a few years ago.

I've always had a soft spot for nintendo's consoles. For me the wii u doesn't have the system seller (must have app) yet. If I purchased one, it does have games I'd buy, but I won't buy the system for those same games. I was dissapointed the Retro's new game is donkey kong, I had my fingures crossed for a new metroid by  retro.

speak for yourself. I am an extremely happy Nintendo fan. There are so many games I have right now that I don't have time to finish. Plus, I still haven't picked up Earthbound, Animal Crossing and Star Wars Pinball yet. But if your strictly talking sales, I wish the Wii U was doing better, but it doesn't keep me up at night by no means.

since when does being a fan of something mean you take pleasure in making fun of people who aren't fans of the same thing? Also, the wii sold ALOT, but as far as the 3 consoles of that generation, i'm sure it probably lost to at least one of the other consoles in terms of software sales. In fact the wii was probably more dissapointing than the wii-u. So much more potential not realized.  oh, if this topic is just a joke or sarcasm, then my bad.

Good one. The 3DS wouldn't even had a holiday release in 2012 without Paper Mario: Sticker Star.

Alright. Well can you make a solid argument for 3DS "needing" Luigi's Mansion 2? You know, between Fire Emblem, Brain Age Training, Etrian Odessy IV, "Castlevania" Mirror of Fate, MH3 Ultimate, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed, SMT: Soul Hackers, Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins, DKCR 3D, Animal Crossing, etc.?

Because 3DS had a steady flowof games, even back in Q4 2012. Whereas the Wii U has had little more than jack shit in the entire first half of 2013. Jan. and Feb. literally had zero releases. You had Lego City and a MH3 port in March, a Need for Speed port, Injustice, a RE: Revelations Port.....that's been ABOUT it.

My point was, a game like Luigi's Mansion or Paper Mario really could have eased that long, painful drought, if they had just developed it for Wii U instead. Yes, you're right, they didn't "Forsee" games like Pikmin 3, Wii Fit U, etc. being pushed back so far. They also didn't forsee Ubisoft pulling what they did with Rayman. BUT, that doesn't excuse the fact that their 3DS development has been almost overzealous, while their Wii U development is clearly behind.

It's a moot point, because Luigi and Paper Mario ARE 3DS games. I was merely stating an idea that might have helped Wii U maintain momentum.
