Vita Sw is actually not that bad. It is of course not smashingly successful as the 3DS. I might be wrong but seems similar to PS2/ GCN SW split as 3DS / Vita SW split. Although I did not even look at the numbers I am just assuming :O.

This game is a beast...It keeps selling and selling
| pezus said: WiiU Japan this week > WiiU PAL in 13 weeks. A bit of perspective. |
Not sure if serious or your trolling, but that 10k number for PAL was the amount of wiiUs they SHIPPED, not sold. They had overshipped by a lot in their previous quarter which leaded to this horrible 10k number but they obviously did sell much more then 10k wiiUs in PAL.
Predictions for LT console sales:
PS4: 120M
XB1: 70M
WiiU: 14M
3DS: 60M
Vita: 13M
| pokoko said: Very sweet numbers for Dragon's Crown. Nice to see the Vita version not really all that far behind the PS3 version, considering the size differential of the installed base. I honestly didn't think the numbers would be that high. I'm pretty impressed by Youkai Watch, as well. It seems to be making up for a weak launch with a nice tail. I hope it can continue to sell. Wait, what the hell? I'm disappointed with Witch + 100 Knights. Nippon Ichi actually appeared to put a good deal of effort into this game, for a change. I hope it can build from here, provided the reviews are good. Toukiden is chugging along. I like that. Really, though, I just wanna play Embryo [Arc System Works]: Hotels.com Blaze Code. Wow. Imagine if the Vita didn't have to share all of its big games with the PSP or PS3? |
Well then it wouldn't get any :( Easy porting between PS3/P and Vita has really saved its bacon.

As much as I enjoy the side view shots of AA5, the frontal ones could use a bit more work. Wrights frown looks like something you'd see from one of those angry darumas. |
This should ease your fears a little:
Simply taking the original 2D screen’s perspectives and camera angles and tossing in 3D models ended up making it appear completely different.”
“That’s where the person in charge of the modeling devised various models according to different situations.”

Court scene (left) and adventure scene (right) models.
When you used Phoenix Wright’s models for court in the adventure parts [of the game], the sense of inconsistency was too great,” Eshiro explains. “That resulted in camera angle changes leading to something that looked strange. For such occasions, we switched parts of the model. That way, the 3D models appeared natural in any scene.”

One of the biggest parts of the game that has been greatly enhanced by the new 3D models is Phoenix’s famous pose (pictured above). According to the developers, they wanted to upgrade the intensity of it, and were able to do it by adjusting the perspective of the pose, making the hand appear much larger when seen in 3D.
“Without making it larger, it ended up looking like a very bitter pose, which lacked intensity,” Yamazaki says with a laugh. “So, before the finger pointing hits, we’ve used a regular court-purpose model, then the moment he sharply points, it switches to a specific model that serves the single purpose of the pose with large hands.
