Basely the one back in the 90s, he just don't like the modern Japanese games.

Don’t follow the hype, follow the games

Here a little quote I want for those to keep memorize in your head for this coming next gen.

Yeah right, western games are still miles behind japansese games when it comes to game design. I would even go as far to say western games are the B-league of games, with some exceptions of course.

I disagree, Demon souls was great, also Metal Gear Solid 4, Dark Souls, Valkyria Chronicles, Siren Blood Curse, Gran Turismo 5, Ace Attorney, Mario 3d land, Dead Rising 1 and 2, etc, etc, the list is gigantic, there are HUNDREDS of amazing modern japanese games.
I LOVE JAPANESE games, and Fez is not even that good to begin with.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

He likes Demon's Souls and Dark Souls because they have no tutorial.

Ah, dueling generalizations. Japanese games suck! No, western games suck! No, indie games suck!

Bloody hell ...

Am I the only who who likes games from all over the world, from all different sized developers, and thinks generalizations like that are mind-numbingly ridiculous? Todays I've played an indie game (Thomas Was Alone), a Japanese game (Zero Escape), and a western "AAA" game (Borderlands 2), and I've enjoyed the hell out of each one of them. Screw worrying about who made them, I just like good games.

You are so cool. Also, I agree, yesterday i played Killzone 3, LBP vita, Datura and even a little Ocarine o´Time 3d. I got Zero Escape on ps plus, I guess I will try tonight.

I disagree. I like them, a lot. Though I will admit I play a lot more Western games when compared to last gen and the gen before that. Added to that, Japanese games are not longer what they were quantitatively and qualitatively. Nevertheless, I still find they are overall good games and contribute well to diversity.

I'm sorry but I couldn't watch that video anymore after the 1 min mark; because of his initial reaction (esp that idiot who was laughing hysterically).

I know... that d-bag came off almost as bad as Fish.

OT: I'll just reiterate what I said in NiKKoM's thread. If Fish had just limited his "Japanese games suck" remark to Twitter or something I wouldn't think twice about it. He's certainly entitled to his opinion and some of the points he brought up, like Zelda and long tutorials, are good ones. It's certainly a topic worthy of intelligent discussion.

Instead, he was obnoxiously rude to this man asking a question which was completely unwarranted, disrespectful and egotistical. And the kicker of the whole thing is that now that people have publicly insulted him, Fish has a tantrum and thinks he deserves an apology. What a laugh...

There's a little thing called class, Phil Fish has none.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Phil Fish has been a jerk recently. He has to accept that the internet is full of trolls and he has to ignore the hate

Last Japanese games i played was dragons dogma and nier, these games were great but what stops me into getting into other games notebly jrpgs are the characters, the worlds, the story, i just can't take them seriously. Maybe it has to do with taste, but i genuinely don't really like the style of japanese games.
